Advanced FLOW Engineering (aFe Power) designs and manufactures performance air, exhaust and power-management systems for trucks, SUVs and sport compacts, with a particular strength in diesel truck performance. Founded in 1999 and still headquartered in Corona, California, aFe builds in-house across two facilities totalling 164,000 square feet — filters, intakes, exhaust, headers, intercoolers and torque converters are made on site, with CNC machining, mandrel tube bending and dyno testing under the same roof. The catalogue spans cold air intakes, direct-fit and racing air filters, cat-back and axle-back exhaust, intercoolers, turbochargers, electronic programmers, diesel fuel systems and throttle body spacers, across more than 2,500 applications. Recognisable product families include Pro 5R, Pro Dry S and Pro Guard 7 filter media, Takeda for sport compact intakes and exhaust, BladeRunner intercoolers and manifolds, Scorcher programmers, Aries powersports filtration, and aFe Control for suspension and chassis.

This 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 5" flange and our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains in most cases. This media is perfect for street use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals. The filter features an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. Its base includes a built-in 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even airflow and captive screws to easily attach the filter to the housing. Quantum uses an integrated filter-to-housing design that attaches both components with four captive screws, making for a positive surface area seal, as well as easy installation and maintenance. Its durable sealed housing features a unique, five rib, industrial-grade look for aFe quality recognition. Quantum uses a dyno-tuned, computer designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow and a perfect fit. Its XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. This Quantum intake system includes a flexible bellows-style coupling and a durable reinforced silicone coupling. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and easy installation. This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. All necessary clamps, couplings, and hardware are included.
