Advanced FLOW Engineering (aFe Power) designs and manufactures performance air, exhaust and power-management systems for trucks, SUVs and sport compacts, with a particular strength in diesel truck performance. Founded in 1999 and still headquartered in Corona, California, aFe builds in-house across two facilities totalling 164,000 square feet — filters, intakes, exhaust, headers, intercoolers and torque converters are made on site, with CNC machining, mandrel tube bending and dyno testing under the same roof. aFe POWER Track Series Intake Systems, the pinnacle of innovation in open-element intakes. Showcasing a one-piece housing that shields from elements and heat, seamlessly fitting into the engine bay. The highlight of the Track Series is its carbon fiber intake tube, meticulously CAD-designed and refined through dyno-testing. The result is a visually striking, lightweight system that delivers exceptional performance and a captivating induction sound. This 9” tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 5-1/2" flange and our oil-free Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals. The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, and an aggressive air intake sound. The built-in air intake scoop captures cold air directly from the top of the radiator support thanks to its huge opening. The lightweight tube is computer-designed to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Manufactured from 100% twill weave carbon fiber, it features zero fiberglass and is clear-coated for the highest quality construction. The computer designed system utilizes factory mounting locations, minimizing the use of unnecessary hardware and ensuring a perfect fit every time. Its innovative design makes for a hassle-free, direct bolt-on installation process that requires no cutting or drilling. Stainless-steel clamps are included for strength, and premium silicone couplers allow for ample flexibility.
