Advanced FLOW Engineering (aFe Power) designs and manufactures performance air, exhaust and power-management systems for trucks, SUVs and sport compacts, with a particular strength in diesel truck performance. Founded in 1999 and still headquartered in Corona, California, aFe builds in-house across two facilities totalling 164,000 square feet — filters, intakes, exhaust, headers, intercoolers and torque converters are made on site, with CNC machining, mandrel tube bending and dyno testing under the same roof. This turbo inlet is the perfect addition to the Takeda intake. It removes the air flow restriction of the factory turbo inlet and guarantees the maximum air flow to the turbo for maximum power. It provides a smooth transition for the air from the Takeda air intake tube to the turbo with the minimum restriction. Precisely CNC machined out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the adapter mounts directly onto the turbo and guides the increased air flow from the Takeda intake into the turbo. It is black anodized for durability and a stealthy appearance. This turbo inlet utilizes a flexible silicone coupling that is reinforced with three layers of polyester material, making it resistant to wear and deterioration. The silicone coupling mates directly to the aluminum turbo adapter and the Takeda air intake tube. All necessary clamps are provided. All necessary clamps and hardware are provided for a fast and easy installation. The factory harness bracket mounts directly onto the aluminum adapter for perfect fitment. This item will only fit with Takeda air intake systems P/N: 56-10021D , 56-10021R, 56-70021D and 56-70021R . It will NOT fit with the factory air intake system.
