APR develops performance software and hardware for Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles from its engineering facility in Opelika, Alabama. Best known for ECU and transmission calibrations that unlock significant power from factory turbocharged engines, APR backs its software with a full range of supporting hardware including intakes, intercoolers, turbocharger systems, exhausts and suspension components. Every calibration is developed in-house on APR's own dynamometers and validated through extensive road and track testing, so owners get meaningful gains without sacrificing drivability or reliability. APR products are engineered to work together as a system, which is why enthusiasts building a staged Volkswagen or Audi so often stay within the range from first tune to final build.

The APR Throttle Body Pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe with a high quality aluminum pipe that's a constant diameter within. We pay close attention to the airflow path and provide as few bends and tight radius turns as possible to maximize performance. Unlike the factory plastic pipes, ours won't melt and crack under extreme conditions, and ours don't contain a failure-prone and resistive internal piece like the factory pipe. The pipe features an additional port which can be used for an additional sensor, water/methanol injection, or however you see fit, and includes an NPT tap to block it off when not in use. The pipe features bead rolled connection points to help resist hose slippage, and all mounting brackets and billet sensor ports are tig-welded to the pipe for a strong connection. Finally, the pipe is finished in an attractive satin-black finish. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path. This pipe is compatible with both OEM and upgraded APR charge hoses.
